Support SPEAR by being Santa's little helper!
Could you be part of a longstanding Twickenham Christmas tradition and help spread festive joy?
Every year the Rotary Club of Twickenham Upon Thames, invites Santa to join them on the streets of Twickenham to meet local children and raise vital funds for local charities, including SPEAR.
Of course, even Father Christmas can’t do this alone and he’s asked SPEAR supporters if they can help him from 3-19 December.
Each night trainee elves will join him at 6.15pm ready to follow Santa’s sleigh playing all the Christmas songs we know and love.
Volunteers will be knocking on doors, taking excited children to see Santa and collecting donations to support SPEAR and Rotary charities.
All routes have been travelled each year and many of the parents taking their children to see Santa would have seen the Wagon when they were little.
Each evening finishes at 8pm sharp.
Six volunteers are needed each evening so you can join a team or bring a group of friends and colleagues to have fun together.
Elves are recruited on a first come first served basis, if you are interested please contact Fundraising@spearlondon.org as soon as possible.
There are different routes throughout Twickenham so please check out the list below to see which suits you best.
The more SPEAR volunteers who join in, the more funds you will raise to help our work so do get in touch!
And calling trainee Reindeer
Santa is resting up his reindeer for the big day and so has asked if there is anybody who has a vehicle with a tow bar, could they be Rudolph for a day? Anybody who can help Santa pull his sleigh will also raise funds for SPEAR so please let us know.
