Join #TeamSPEAR at the Richmond RUN-FEST 2024!
The incredible GoFundMe Richmond RUN-FEST is back for its 12th year and we’re excited we have places in both the 10km and the half marathon.
The 10km is a beautiful, flat, fast course which starts inside Kew Gardens before running along the Thames towpath to our music festival finish in the Old Deer Park in Richmond.
The half marathon also starts inside Kew Gardens and then takes you on a scenic tour of Richmond, passing historical sites including Ham House, Richmond Palace, Teddington Lock, and the meandering River Thames, before finishing at the music festival in Old Deer Park. General registration for both races has sold out – the only way you can enter is through a charity place.
But best of all each milestone you hit you will be raising vital funds to help local people on their journey from homelessness to independence.
This will be a run you’ll remember.

Sponsorship target: £200 (10km) or £300 (half marathon)
What you will get when running for SPEAR
As part of #TeamSPEAR you’ll be raising vital funds for us to support anyone facing or experiencing homelessness so that we can then move them into secure accommodation, provide them with effective support and help them work towards a positive future. You will also receive:
- Access to fundraising tools and one-to-one support to help you smash your goal
- An on hand fundraising team to help you with any questions you may have
- Discounted registration fee
- Achievable sponsorship target
- All runners will get free entry to Kew Gardens for two adults and two children if they arrive before 9.15am.
- Finishers medal and technical t-shirt (including female cut)
- SPEAR runner certificate
Places are limited and we expect to sell-out, so the sooner you book in your places, the better!
