Fundraising Ambassador

SPEAR is looking for volunteer ambassadors to help raise awareness about homelessness and the charity’s work across South West London. This role involves delivering presentations to a variety of audiences, including schools, faith groups and community organisations, to share information about SPEAR’s history, services and goals. Presentations can range from five to 30 minutes and include a Q&A session.

Key responsibilities include:

    • Being the public face of SPEAR
    • Delivering prepared presentations with scripted content
    • Engaging with attendees before and after presentations
    • Answering questions about SPEAR’s work

 

This flexible role allows volunteers to choose presentations that fit their schedules. Full training and induction will be provided, starting with shadowing experienced staff before presenting independently. Volunteers must undergo a DBS check (organized by SPEAR).
